By Tomas Turkovic, Head of Outsourcing, Soitron

Soitron was invited to take part at the Visegrad Four E-government sharing experience event. It is an expert workshop organised by V4 Embassies in Sofia, in cooperation with Economic Policy Institute, Information Services Plc. and Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria (MTITC) in the framework of Slovak V4 presidency. All four countries had companies and institutions introducing e – government projects of theirs.

V4 Workshop was venued in the premises of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Sofia. This year it welcomed an outstanding number of participants – around 120, and succeeded to receive support from the highest ranks of the Bulgarian state administration.

Jan Gero of Soitron acquainted the assemblage with the Intelligent Police cars Project which successfully contributes to Police Force’s work efficiency in Slovakia already. The device is used as an anti – corruption tool, providing direct Database access, enables to deal easier with documentation processing such as ID/ passport checks, and last but not least decreases errors while doing so. Also a vehicle with this hardware is safer and more secure as it provides video capturing and recording in car’s premises.
